Bright Hope through My Window

Anne Condult

This image shows a knitted piece of artwork, which is 3 by 4 squares, each of which represents a pane of the window.  In the centre of each square is a smaller square representing what is visible outside the glass,  These inner squares are a variegated bright yellow/orange which to me symbolise bright hope.  Around each inner square are dark and light blue stripes.  The light blue makes up the top and light with the dark blue to the left and bottom of each window pane.  The junction of the light and dark blue is mitred.   Surrounding the whole is a crocheted picture frame.
