Maud Rowell

This video is part of an ongoing project about blindness and film photography, which will be released in 2022. These example shots show Maud on a shoot at Winchelsea Beach in Rye, taking the photographs which make up the Sky / Sea series. The sun is setting, and one side of the sky is a brilliant rosy gold, while the sea and the horizon slip into shadows. Maud is using a small red hand mirror and a 1990s film camera.
